Other options include hand seeding and sod. Both of which are great options with there own pros and cons. Sod is great for commercial applications where it will need immediate use, but will require a great deal of water for the first few weeks. All though instantly established it is by far the most costly.

Hand seeding is another option that is exactly as it may sound. The germination process is a bit longer with this option but may be sped up with an addition of aeration. This process takes a little bit longer to fully establish a lawn but is also a great option that will fit most customers budget.
